When can I use it?
The app is planned for this winter, and a small beta opens before that. People on the waitlist hear first.
How do I start?
Open the app: a finished sample journal is on the desk. Tap the photo lying on its empty page to see a stamp land. Then tap "Where to next?": pick a destination, choose a route on its map, name the cover, and your journal is made.
Do I need an account? Where are my journals kept?
No sign-up. Journals are kept on your own phone (and, when the app syncs with iCloud, in your own iCloud). The developer has no server that stores them.
Which devices?
iPhone with iOS 26 or later. On iPhone Duo the closed phone is the cover and the open phone is the spread. The first version has no iPad or Android app.
Does it cost anything?
The first version is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
Which languages?
English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese: the interface, the destinations and the names of the pins. Switch any time in the app's Settings.
Which destinations?
The SoCal coast, Kyoto, New York, Mount Rainier National Park and Oahu, each with a map pack. Anywhere else, make a blank journal and add your own stops, and tell the app which destination you want a pack for: packs arrive in updates.
Can I share my journal?
Yes. Pick pages and the app makes a 3:4 or 9:16 set of pictures, or long pictures, with a caption and hashtags; save them to Photos or send them to Xiaohongshu, WeChat, Instagram, X or Facebook.
Where will it be available?
In most App Store regions. It will not be in the mainland China store at launch.
How do I leave the waitlist?
